Quality of life is one of the symbols of identity of the capital city of Valladolid. Moreover, in recent years, it has undergone an ambitious plan to turn it into a fully-fledged “smart city”.With all this potential, we’re convinced that the new homes in Valladolid will be of interest to you. Come with us to find out more.
Becoming a “smart city” is no easy task, which is why the City Council has focused on this process for over a decade. To begin with, it set itself the target of joining the list of 100 climate-neutral cities by 2030, a goal it will meet thanks to its firm commitment to urban digitalisation.
We shouldn’t forget that Valladolid is one of the founders of RECI, the Spanish Network of Smart Cities. In fact, it houses the headquarters of this organisation and it’s launching several initiatives to protect the environment in urban settings while ensuring an improvement in the quality of life of its citizens. We can also highlight the City Council’s concern for the implementation of the electric vehicle and e-administration.
In keeping with the above, it’s worth underscoring the city’s firm undertaking to create large green spaces to facilitate outdoor leisure and improve air quality.
So much so that Valladolid (along with Vitoria and León) is one of the seven Spanish cities that have the most green space per inhabitant (11 square metres for each Valladolid resident, to be precise). Among this wide range of options, we recommend the Cerro de las Contiendas forest park (682,036 m2), the Mediodía Park (196,378 m2) and the Paraje del Caño Hondo (196,083 m2).
As we’ve seen, this all means that at Kronos Homes we take Valladolid very much into account and strive to provide homes that live up to the standards of such a city.
We’ve therefore made a great start with a large new development in the city. Located in El Peral, it is called Nolita, an exceptionally high-quality development with an avant-garde design and comprehensive communal areas. Furthermore, as an indication of our interest in preserving the environment, Nolita is the first residential project in Valladolid to obtain the prestigious BREEAM certificate for sustainable construction. Wait, there is still more to tell you:
In short, from now on Valladolid is home to one of our major new construction projects, designed to make a difference and provide residential architecture in keeping with such a special city. Don’t hesitate to enquire, you’re sure to find the home you’ve always wanted.
